How do I sign up for a ride-along in a sheriff's patrol car?

The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office ride-along program offers the opportunity of interested citizens to observe the deputy while on regular patrol. Any person that is 18 years age or older may request an application for this program by calling (704) 920-3003 or picking up an application at the sheriff's office. A background check, waiver, release and indemnification form must be signed.
