The Animal Control Office is located off of NC Hwy 49, behind
Terminal Trucking, on General Services Dr. The Cabarrus County
Animal Control is responsible for investigating animal cruelty,
enforcing existing animal control laws, and managing stray
animals.

- Nuisance abatement
- Animal facility operations
- Stray animal control
- Stray animal pickup (time permitting)
- Trapping of wild dogs and cats
- Loan traps for trapping wild dogs and cats
- Lost and Found reports

*New Animal Shelter Hours*
Animal Shelter hours will change effective 12/12/2005. The Animal Shelter will now be open to the public from 12:00 PM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays and closed on Sundays, and Holidays.
